TSI World Bees’ coach, Dough Sheppard, rounds up the week

It was a disappointing start to our League fixtures last weekend. If we had started both games with the same attitude we were showing at the end, we might have picked up some points

This weekend we’re playing Sheffield away and at home and we need to get back on track. Home fans will remember a very close game against Sheffield in the Autumn Cup, when I pulled the netminder in the last few minutes to try to overturn a one goal deficit. I look forward to two consistent performances.

A few of our regular players are still carrying injuries, so I was pleased once again to call up a few of Slough Jets teenagers. We hope that getting ice-time with us will help develop their skills.

One aspect of our play that went well was our penalty-killing, but our home fans probably most enjoyed the closing minutes when we came back from a three goal deficit against Milton Keynes to lose by a single goal.

See you all this weekend.
