On the 19th February, we are encouraging Bees fans to ‘Paint the rink purple’ to help celebrate a significant milestone for a long-standing player.

Harvey Stead will lace up for his 500th senior appearance in his hockey career – the majority of those in the black, white and gold – when we face the Bristol Pitbulls. This is an amazing achievement for a player who has always been and continues to be a fantastic servant to the club.

We are delighted to announce that we will be using this opportunity to raise funds for a charity close to Harvey’s heart – Young Epilepsy. We are encouraging fans to wear something purple to help us ‘Paint the rink purple!’.

On the night, Harvey’s partner Daisy, along with other friends and family members, will be around the rink with collection buckets.

In the main lobby, you will be able to purchase raffle tickets to win some amazing prizes such as a signed jersey, signed stick, a Bees rug, vouchers, alcohol bundles and more!

For the puck collectors out there, the supporters club table will be selling commemorative pucks signed by Harvey – perfect to add to your mystery puck collection from this season.

We will have further details regarding the night soon including further fundraising activities and a special challenge Harvey has set for himself and the fans!
