Head Coach of the TSI World Bees Ice Hockey Club can announce he’s captured the signature of promising young forward Juha Lindgren who will ice in black, white and gold next season.

Juha iced in the NIHL National Spring Cup for the Bees before a shoulder injury brought his campaign to an early close but his performances were enough to convince Doug Sheppard to sign him full time for the 21/22 campaign.

The 18 year old has played all his hockey at Slough Ice Arena, firstly within the Jets Junior System where he consistently put in good performances and returned impressive numbers before moving up to the Slough Jets, then in NIHL2 in 2018/19. He found the back of the net 4 times in 8 appearances as well as 2 further assists.

With promotion for the Jets to NIHL1 16 year, Juha started his first season in the third tier of ice hockey and once again impressed with 8+12 coming from 25 games. At the same time he also posted 21+13 in just 14 games at under 18 level.

Juha was also selected for Great Britain Under 18s in 2020 but the tournament was cancelled due to the Covid19 pandemic.

With the 20/21 season also looking to be in doubt it was a breath of fresh air when the NIHL announced the Spring Cup and Juha made his Bees debut.

Despite missing the last three games of the Cup Juha scored twice to add to his two assists but more than that showed a work ethic Doug Sheppard believes will fit in well in his new season team.

Head Coach Doug Sheppard elaborated on his latest signing; “I thought Juha had a very strong Spring Cup. He’s extremely talented with a great work ethic and we’re thrilled to have him join us full time.”

Juha stands at 5’6 and weighs 143lbs. He shoots left handed.
