Hot off the back of the announcement he is joining James Galazzi for his testimonial game in June, the TSI World Bees Ice Hockey Club are happy to confirm that Ryan Webb is icing for the team in the 2022/2023 season.

Ryan started to play hockey as part of the Guildford Junior Program before stepping across to Bracknell in his teens. He would become a fixture in the Bracknell Hornets line up for four seasons, with the occasional call up to the Bees. Leaving the Hive late in the 13/14 season saw Webb playing for the Wrightlink Raiders and Streatham. The time to develop and gain experience away from Bracknell saw some of Webb’s best seasons with 44 points, before coming back to the Bees full time in the 2019/2020 season.

Coach Sheppard is happy to have a player with Webb’s experience back in the line up, “We’re thrilled to have Webby back next season. He’s an experienced player that brings energy night in, night out. Webby is outstanding on the penalty kill and can play on the wing or centre.”

The team are working hard to push forward after a challenging season, and Ryan is looking forward to the new season, “ I am so happy to back with the Bees for another season. We have the best group and it really does feel like home. It’s going to be an exciting year with new teams coming into the league which will give us some new challenges. I look forward to putting on the Bees jersey again next season and continuing to give absolutely everything I can. Every shift I play to help the team be as successful as we can be. Enjoy the summer and I look forward to seeing you all in September!”

Ryan’s Jersey will be available to own and loan, when we launch our own and loan scheme during the summer.
