The TSI World Bees Ice Hockey Club are well underway with preparations for the 21/22 NIHL season and start with the announcement of three players not returning to the Bees roster.

Goaltender Danny Milton who has been with the Bees for four seasons has decided to seek an opportunity elsewhere with the prospect of more ice time. Danny formed a formidable goaltending duo with Adam Goss for the 19/20 season and the Spring Cup played behind closed doors this season but has now decided to seek a new team with great playing opportunity.

Josh Ealey-Newman has also decided not to return for the upcoming campaign. Josh first appeared for the Bees in 2017/18 before spending two full seasons with the Hornets. He returned to the Hornets for the 19/20 before taking Doug Sheppard’s invitation to step up to the Bees where he returned 29 points from 30 games. Josh elected not to play in the Spring Cup and has now decided to focus fully on his business away from hockey.

Deakan Fielder is the third player not to be returning to the Bees. Originally signed for what we believed would be a full season last season Deakan did pull on the black, white and gold for the Spring Cup and we’d like to thank him for his efforts in our shortened season last season.

We’d like to thank all three players for their contributions to the Bees and wish them the best of luck for their futures.
