Following yesterday’s announcement joint from Ice Hockey UK, English Ice Hockey Association and Scottish Ice Hockey of the cancellation of all ice hockey until May 31st the TSI World Bracknell Bees have started work on the logistics involved with this.

It goes without saying that this weekend’s scheduled fixtures, the last of the regular season, will not take place and there will be no post season play-offs.

We are aware the people will have pre-booked walk up tickets for this weekend as well as this being the last game of the season ticket package. We have started work on ensuring prw-paid ticket holders will get refunds and on a solution for season ticket holders also and information will be released as soon as possible.

We are also carefully considering our season ticket deals for next season. Hockey has been cancelled until May 31st which has brought the curtain down early on the 19/20 season but all data available at the moment points to the peak of Covid_19 falling in what will be our closed season so we are hopeful that we can all start again in September. At this stage all we can do is follow government advice and directive of the management of the NIHL and EIHA.

For those asking about our end of season event, we have taken the decision to postpone this also. We will monitor government advice and hope to be able to hold an open air gathering later in the year. We will be releasing details of the 19/20 award winners via our website and social media in due course.

Please keep an eye on our website and social media channels where all news will be released as soon as possible.

In the mean time the Bees thank you for your support through the inaugural NIHL National season and urge you all to keep yourself and your loved ones safe and healthy. Follow the latest advice given at http://nhs.uk/coronavirus.
