There was no home game for the TSI World Bracknell Bees as they played in Romford and Hull over the weekend.

Danny Milton got the start for the TSI World Bracknell Bees with the injured Adam Goss backing up and the Bees and Raiders battled through an 18 shot first period scoreless.

Caly Robertson netted the game’s first goal at 23.33 but Jake Sylvester equalised at 25.42. Ollie Baldock put the home team ahead on 28.30 before Ryan Webb (31.28), Brendan Baird (34.54) and Dominik Gabak (35.55) gave the Bees a two goal lead. This was cut to a single goal at 38.39 thanks to Brandon Ayliffe.

Ayliffe scored his second at 43.14 and Aaron Connolly scored at 43.19 to give the Raiders back the lead. His second, a powerplay goal at 51.51 was the game winner despite a second from Gabaj at 53.29.

Hull Pirates 4 TSI World Bracknell Bees 1

The only goal of the first period came from Jason Hewitt with the Pirates on the powerplay at 7.13 in an otherwise fairly even period.

Matty Davies doubled the lead with a goal at 26.31 but with 1.24 left in the middle period Caly Robertson scored for the Bees setting up a tense finish.

With 7.48 of the final period played Hewitt scored his second powerplay goal of the night and a David Norris strike at 56.347 sealed the win for the Pirates.
