The weekend started early for the TSI World Bees with a Friday night journey to Romford to face Raiders IHC.

With just 2.18 left in the first period Bees broke deadlock with Mikey Power scoring the game’s opening goal.

Raiders would pull level at 30.54 with a powerplay strike from JJ Pitchley but a delayed penalty goal from Dominic Gabaj at 36.37 was the game winning goal. Two more before the second period were out would give Bees a comfortable margin thanks to Juha Lindgren (37.53) and Christian Mohr (38.06)

The only goal of the final period made it 5 for the Bees as Josh Smith scored a powerplay goal at 52.06.

On Sunday night it was back to Slough to skate out on home ice against the Leeds Knights.

The game was just 26 seconds old when Ryan Webb scored the first goal but with just 123 seconds played it was all level through Harrison Walker levelling for the Knights. Ed Bradley put Bees back in the lead at 4.41 and the first period ended 2-1.

A two-nil middle period for the Bees put them well ahead in the game with Christian Mohr scoring at 28.09 and Juha Lindgren at 32.17.

Bees added a fifth just 2.14 into the third period but despite Keiran Brown netting for the Knights at 42.34 Bees had already done enough to secure the win and a four point weekend.
