The Bees play in the National Ice Hockey League (NIHL) top division (National Division) which is a semi-professional league that focuses on developing young GB trained players. The National Division also boasts teams from Bristol, Swindon, Romford, Peterborough, Milton Keynes, Telford, Hull, Leeds, Solway & Sheffield.
Dominik Gabaj will, again, be leading the Bees into the 2024/2025 season. After a much improved 2023/2024 season, work is well underway to create and upgrade the roster once again; we would love you to join us for the 2024/2025 season !
The Bees will be starting our 4th full season at the Slough Ice Arena in September 2024 after previously playing in Bracknell between 1987 and 2019. We continue to keep and build on many of our strong relationships with both local businesses and the local community in Bracknell but we are also starting to build similar relationships in Slough and the surrounding areas. We see this year as a great time to push on and really cement ourselves in the Slough Business Community. We offer excellent ways to promote businesses locally and nationally.
The Club continues to work with Community projects in Bracknell, and now the Bees are also building a brand new Community Programme to support the Slough area including working with the likes of SPICE (Special People on Ice) skating, Chalvey Can Community Group and the Thames Valley Learning Partnership. We have been building links with local schools and community groups (such as the Scouts & Guides and other child focussed sports clubs). Most recently, the Bees and Slough Town FC have created the Sport in Slough partnership to promote sporting weekends in Slough.
The Bees are very proud of our charity work with the Pink Ribbon Foundation, Young Epilepsy and The Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice – raising money and donating toys throughout the season for these very worthy charities
We offer various sponsorship packages to suit all business requirements. These are shown in this brochure below. However, we are always prepared to tailor packages at your request. Our sponsorship packages can offer both local and national exposure, and, depending on the package can deliver your brand to the local community 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.
