The TSI World Berkshire Bees are proud to announce that Autism Berkshire will be our chosen charity for the 2024/2025 season.
Autism Berkshire are the leading autism charity in Berkshire and deliver quality specialist services, training and social and leisure activities throughout the county.
On our new chosen charity, Bees Director, Graeme Bower, said:
“We are delighted to have Autism Berkshire as our chosen charity for the 2024/2025 season.
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive club where anyone is welcome. In recent years have received many comments regarding how the Bees have helped both children and adults alike to create a friendly environment in which they have been able to be and feel involved in. This ethos is shared by Autism Berkshire with the fantastic work they do which includes not only offering support and advice, but also helping to make social and leisure activities available and welcoming to adults and children with Autism.
Working with amazing local charities helps us emphasise our commitment to raising awareness and funds for great causes and we look forward to working with all at Autism Berkshire next season”
Autism Berkshire’s CEO, Jane Stanford-Beale, said:
“We’re thrilled to have been chosen as the Berkshire Bees’ charity of the year.
“It’s a great opportunity to raise awareness and understanding of autism in Slough and across the county and we are looking forward to working with everyone at the club during the new season.”
As well as having the Autism Berkshire logo on our black and yellow jerseys; we will also be releasing special warmup jerseys which the players will wear before games and will be designating a game during the season as ‘Autism Awareness night’ to raise funds for this fantastic charity.
