The NIHL National season may have come to an early close for the TSI World Bracknell Bees, but now some of your favourite players will be taking to the ice once again…online.

The ‘Bee at Home Cup 2020’ will see some of the Bees from last season take on a variety of opponents, from fans to an 8ft mascot with opposable thumbs, in an online NHL 20 competition on the Playstation which gets underway this Saturday from 5pm.

And the even better news is that YOU will be able to watch each and every shift on our brand new Twitch channel – http://www.twitch.com/BracknellBees.

The 16 competitors were subject to a random draw for teams from the NHL before being split into two conferences, named after two charity partners of the club who are close to our heart – Mountbatten and Young Epilepsy. During the course of the tournament, if you are able to, please take the opportunity to donate to either of these fantastic causes.

Mountbatten Conference

Brendan Baird – Florida Panthers
Stuart Mogg – Caroline Hurricanes
Danny Milton – Detroit Red Wings
Mini Wale – Colorado Avalanche
Nathan Moss – Boston Bruins
Harvey Stead – Winnipeg Jets
Dominik Gabaj – Nashville Predators

Young Epilepsy Conference

Zack Milton – Los Angeles Kings
Tobie Bowers – New Jersey Devils
James Galazzi – Toronto Maple Leafs
Will Stead – Tampa Bay Lightning
Josh Smith – New York Rangers
Liam Brown – Edmonton Oilers
Harry Brown – Chicago Blackhawks
Buzz – Minnesota Wild

After watching some of the pre-tournament challenges matches, TSI World Bracknell Bees director Stuart Robinson was so impressed with the action on show that he has a put a trophy at stake for the winner!

This is yet another example of how our off-ice officials, staff and volunteers have rallied around during the current pandemic to continue reaching out to our community and provide constant content and contact, with our latest Watch Party taking place on Sunday, a new podcast coming out on Monday and the continuation of our Buzz worksheets returning next week as well.
