The TSI World Bees are delighted to announce that netminder, Brett Shepherd, has joined the club ahead of the 2023/2024 season.

A product of Streatham’s junior programme, Brett, 22, made his first senior appearance in the 2017/2018 NIHL 1 season for the Redhawks. 2018/2019 saw him split his season between Streatham in NIHL 1 with the Slough Jets in NIHL 2 before making his move to Berkshire for the full season the following year.

Shepherd would go on to make the starting position his own at the Jets, taking the bulk of the games across the past 3 seasons in Slough. He also made a single appearance for the Bees in 2021/2022 when he stepped in at the eleventh hour to backstop the Bees in a road game in Sheffield.

Bees head coach Dominik Gabaj was delighted to add the young Brit to the roster ahead of the new season:

“I’m excited to have Brett coming full time to the Bees next season. In Brett we have a young and prospective netminder who is on the back of a great season and I can’t wait to see him develop on the higher level.”
