The TSI World Berkshire Bees are pleased to announce the signing of Harry Thomas on a two-way deal with the Cardiff Canucks
As recently detailed, the Bees are linking up with the newly formed NIHL 2 Team to provide an incentive to develop and enter Senior Hockey. The Canucks are the brainchild of former Cardiff Devils defenceman, Trevor Hendrikx, who wants to provide a North American style development model for talented youngsters.
The Welsh netminder, who turns 16 today, is the first to bridge the M4 gap by linking up with the Bees as a ‘prospect’ netminder. The young Welshman will be the starter for the Canucks, but will train regularly with the Bees and can be called upon as required.
Thomas has already represented Great Britain 4 times at Under 16 level at the 2024 Youth Winter Olympics where he earned rave reviews from coaches and teammates alike with a 1.75 GAA and a .883 SVP. Harry also spent a year abroad training with HK Michalovice in Slovakia where in 7 starts he posted a 3.55 GAA and a .897 SV
