Bees Match Night Live! – What You Need to Know

After an exciting game in Basingstoke yesterday with goals from Brendan Walkom (2), Ryan Webb & Harry Harcup, who also scored his first while with the TSI World Bees.

Tonight we welcome the Players, Staff and Fans of the Leeds Knights to the Slough Ice Arena who currently sit in top position having played 49 games at 85 points.

After last weekend’s game against the Leeds Knights, it has shown that the Bees are able to keep up with the Knights style of hockey and not let them run away with the lead. The Knights are currently sitting top of the table, whereas the Bees are 11th in the league. From our game last weekend against the Knights, just by looking at the stats from the game, it is obvious to see that Kieran Brown and Matt Haywood were important parts of the Knights success on the night. Kieran Brown scored only 44 seconds into the game last Saturday then went back from more and got the third goal of the night for Leeds, whereas Matt Haywood scored the fourth and fifth goal for the Knights. It’s also worth pointing out Mac Howlett, who scored the empty net goal to secure the 2 points for Leeds but also was key in setting up some chances for the Knights last Saturday as he was awarded 2 assists.
