It’s another home and away weekend this weekend for the TSI World Bracknell Bees as they take on Raiders IHC in a significant battle. The Bees head into the weekend in possession of the much coveted play off spot and two wins would go a long way to secure qualification for the post-season.

The Bees head into this crucial weekend on the back of a four point weekend against the league leading Telford Tigers. Wins in both Berkshire and Shropshire for Doug Sheppard’s men saw them re-take eighth place in the table.

The Bees are on a three game winning streak with a 3-2 record in their last five outings as compared to the Raiders who come in on a two game losing streak with a 1-4 record from their last five games.

Dominik Gabaj leads the scoring for the Bees with 49 points from 25 games with Roman Malinik just behind on 21+20 from 41 games. Zack Milton leads the Brits scoring with 9+28 from 37 games.

Erik Piatak is the leading points scoring for the Raiders with 45 points from 31 games followed by Lukas Sladovsky recording 44 points from 41 games and Aaron Connolly leads the Raiders Brit pack with 43 points from 41 games.

With two man of the matches in his three starts since his return from injury Adam Goss will guard the Bees net this weekend while the Raiders have had their own struggles with injuries in the netminding department this season also.

Head Coach Doug Sheppard looked forward to the weekend; “It’s safe to say this is the biggest weekend of the season for the Bees, as we have a double header against the Raiders. With the first game this Saturday on home ice it would be great to have a huge crowd cheering us on as we make our push for the play-offs.”

Bees play on home ice this Saturday night taking on the Raiders at 6.15pm before a road trip to Romford for Sunday’s 5.15pm face-off.
