The TSI World Bees Ice Hockey Club started the Autumn Cup with a trip to Leeds Knights followed by a home game against the Swindon Wildcats.

Cole Shudra opened the scoring for the home team at 8.38. Robert Streetly doubled the score at 17.17 and the Knights took a 3 goal lead into the interval thanks to a second strike from Shudra.

Kieran Brown scored the Knight’s fourth at 24.39 with a powerplay strike at 38.08 from Brandon Whistle making it 5-0 by the end of the second period.

Whistle’s second, just 35 seconds into the final period made it 6-0 before Mikey Power broke the shut-out on 47.00 but it would be Brown’s second of the night which ended the scoring for a 7-1 win for the Knights.

Sam Bullas scored the first of the night at 3.41 but Josh Smith levelled the game at 7.02 and the teams remained in deadlock as the first period ended.

It took 8.47 of the second period before the tie was broken when Emil Svec scored the only goal of the second period.

With 8.32 played in the final period Sam Godfrey added a margin of safety and with 6.36 left on the clock Reed Sayers netted the Wildcats 4th of the night to close out the scoring.
