The TSI World are delighted to announce the signing of young defenceman, Oliver Knaggs, for the 2023/2024 season – joining on a two-way deal with Chelmsford Chieftains.

17 year old Knaggs’ junior development started in Milton Keynes with the MK Storm before heading to Bracknell where he would spend 2 years, icing for the Hummers and the Drones. 2021/2022 would see Oli back in MK with the Storm where some impressive defensive displays saw him get his first taste of senior hockey, being called up into NIHL 1 action with the MK Thunder. Last season again saw him ice for both the Storm and Thunder and again got recognition for his performances by earning a call up to the GB team for the U18 World Championships.

Oli has totalled 43 senior appearances to date, amassing 12 points (5 goals and 7 assists)

The Bees will have first option on Knaggs’ availability on any given match night but the two-way deal with the Chieftains will allow him some significant ice time to help further his development.

“Oli is a young defensman with a lot of potential. I’m glad that we have him on a two-way deal. It will be his first season at this level and I’m excited to see him step up and play in the black, white and gold jersey this season”

Bees’ Coach, Dominik Gabaj
